Victoria’s Secret

30 Aug

Victoria’s Secret is a brand that I’ve always adored but never had the chance to own anything..until now!

With their new store on New Bond Street recently opened I’ll definitely be getting my hands on some of their gorgeous lingerie!

Are you as excited as I am?

My coveted item this week are these Topshop boots.

They’re the perfect shoe for in between seasons and at £45 they’re also affordable!

Apologies for the moodiness! I’m just not very photogenic lol!

I love this blazer, it’s so comfy!

Glamouflage nails!

22 Aug

Seeing as I am so ridiculously bad at nail art, I thought I’d try to incorporate the AW12 military trend into an incredibly simple- to-do pattern by creating the camouflage pattern but with gold. Et voilà! (please excuse my ugly feet – 10 years of dancing really takes its toll on your tootsies!)

The pattern is incredibly easy to get and here’s how!

1. Apply a base coat. I like Barry M’s Base/Top Coat which also acts as a nail hardener, which is great for me as my nails just seem to break all the time!

2. Paint your nails with two coats of khaki green nail polish, mine is from Topshop but once autumn comes this sort of shade will be everywhere! Navy blues, Mushroom greys and black also work really well for this style.

3. Apply a crackle nail polish. I used Barry M’s gold crackle as I find its the best one around and you really only need one thin coat for maximum effect! If you’ve used a blue or black polish underneath then I’d go for a silver in order to create the camouflage effect.

4. Apply a topcoat in order to make the whole thing last longer and stop those unruly chips!

What do you guys think? Any tips for a nail art novice?

So I’m starting a new weekly post, showcasing the item I’m most coveting every week!

Let me know what you think about the items I post!

This week it’s the turn of the Mulberry tassel studded suede bag (found at

At £1200 this is one that I will have to start saving for!

What are you coveting this week?

Rosie for Autograph

14 Aug

I have an awkward bra size, and so I have always found it seriously difficult to find underwear that fits, is comfortable, sexy and most importantly, affordable. Marks and Spencers’ Autograph range has always delivered on all four of these. So imagine my excitement when I heard that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (i.e. one of my biggest girl crushs’ of all time) was designing a range for them.

The images of the collection were released today and I have to say that she has not disappointed. She describes her inspiration as being the twenties and while this is evident in the styles of the lingerie, it is also incredibly sexy without being too provocative.

Here are some of my favourite pieces from the collection which I will definitely be investing in!

I cannot describe my excitement for 30th August when this finally comes into stores!

As well as model and actress, RHW can successfully add talented lingerie designer to the mix.

What does everybody else think of the collection? Are you as excited as I am?
