In the spirit of the New Year, I have decided that this year I will actually make and stick to a New Year’s resolution! I have three so far which I hope at least one of will stick so here they go!

1. Wear more colour

Anybody who looks inside my wardrobe will know that there are swathes of black inside it. My friends joke that I am ready for a funeral at a moments notice and it has become somewhat of an affliction. This year I resolve that I will wear more colour. The best way to do this gradually (so that I don’t send people into shock at seeing me too colourful!) will be to introduce prints like this gorgeous Erdem number found on net-a-porter for £1540.

2. Take more photographs

For a blogger, I really have a horrible knack for never taking photos when I should. Photos are the best way to conserve memories and I have to take more of them. I have my sights set on the new Samsung Galaxy Camera where I can upload photo’s to Facebook from wherever I take them. They currently go for around £400 on Amazon.

3. Never have I ever…

There are so many things that I have never done that I would love to do. This year is going to be a year of firsts for me!

For example;

Never have I ever worn double denim.
Never have I ever managed to keep neat nails for a week.
Never have I ever purchased a piece of clothing that cost more than £300.

What things do you want to do this year that you have never done before?

2012 was a fantastic year in the celebrity style stakes so here I thought I would show you my ten favourites!

To start with was Gwyneth Paltrow’s fantastic Tom Ford Oscar’s gown.

Next up is Diane Kruger in Versus from the Cannes Film Festival

Who could forget Angelina Jolie’s now-famous leg! She stunned in Versace at the Academy Awards.

And, as blogged about here, Rihanna in Calvin Klein at the GQ Awards.

Blake Lively looked like an old Hollywood starlet in Zuhair Murad for the LA premiere of Savages.

Next, Emma Stone in Lanvin at this year’s Met Ball. There were seriously so many looks from Emma Stone this year that could have made it on to this list but I could only choose one. Do you think I made the right choice?

In addition, Kristen Stewart’s daring Zuhair Murad ensemble for the LA Twilight premiere.

Taylor Swift also looked lovely in red Ellie Saab at the Billboard Awards.

And who could forget Eva Longoria in jaw-dropping Marchesa?

And last but not least, Blair Waldorf’s Ellie Saab wedding gown as seen in the series finale of Gossip Girl earlier this month.

Special mentions to the Duchess of Cambridge, Olivia Palermo and Miranda Kerr who never once failed to look fantastic throughout the whole year!

What do you think? Have I missed anyone off this list? Is there anyone here who you don’t think deserves to be?
