COVETED ITEM: 12-12-12

Having recently become the owner of an iPhone, I’ve been on the hunt for a really cute case for it. I’ve seen some of Marc by Marc Jacobs cases and covers before so I decided to check them out and I came across this adorable one!

Anyone who knows me will know that I absolutely adore dogs, especially Boston Terriers and so I basically squealed when I saw this! It’s £40 so not totally extortionate and has headed right up to the top of my Christmas list!

I’m, having a bit of a love affair with jumpers at the moment. The time of year between autumn and winter is just the best for finding great, but practical pieces (something I love more than anything). This week’s coveted item comes courtesy of Topshop. Their triple tone sweater is a great winter cover up and would look fantastic thrown over jeans and flats for an easy daytime look, or with a pencil skirt and heels for an edgier evening look. At just £36, this jumper is an absolute bargain.

Since I’m on a bit of a budget this week I have decided that I’m going to dedicate my posts to getting winter style on said budget. And so in keeping with this, this week’s coveted item is this polo-neck jumper from H&M.

At only £29.99, this is a great knit at a bargain price! The colour is totally in season and it is the perfect daytime cover up.  It wasn’t until last week that I noticed that I had absolutely no thick winter jumpers and so this is something that I will definitely be buying!

What are you coveting this week?

Okay, so my apologies for being so absent on the blog over the past couple of weeks, a barrage of uni work and unexpected weddings have taken over my life! But I’m here now to bring you my coveted item of the week.

Since it’s getting really chilly outside now, I’ve decided that I need to invest in a new coat. I want a simple one that I can either wear with jeans or dresses but that will still look stylish. This one from Zara fits that description beautifully!

I’m a firm believer that there are certain types of clothing that you should really spend money on; a coat being one of them. But at £119, this one isn’t really all that expensive for the quality you get. It is a timeless classic that will fail to disappoint season upon season and I for one want to invest!

What other things do you think deserve a good spend on?

One of my favourite hobbies is trawling through sites like net-a-porter at the Black Tie section, wishing that I had somewhere to go and a means of buying one of these gorgeous designs. And so it follows that this week, my coveted item comes from Alice & Olivia’s new evening collection.

At first, I thought the material was somewhat bouclé, but on closer inspection I noticed that it was actually an intricate floral design. The colours are perfect for my colouring and I’m always a fan of strapless and peplums! But at £1410, I might have to keep on coveting…

If only my life were far more extravagant than it is!

Seen as Halloween is just around the corner, this week I’m going to be dedicating my posts to it! Many of you are probably stuck for costume ideas, but this week’s coveted item is witchy but yet stylish enough to pull you through All Hallows Eve fabulously!

This embroidered little Topshop number is equally as spooky as it is pretty and would look great with a long black skirt, cape and witch hat! Failing that, after Halloween, it’s perfect for those chilly winter nights – just perfect your abs first – its a crop!

When I was flicking through the footage from the Milan shows from the weekend I automatically fell in love with Emilio Pucci’s offering. In particular this kimono style cover up…

And then I thought that I’ve seen something similar before; et voila…

The River Island winter version is something I almost fought with my sister over in the shop (the picture reeeeealllly doesn’t do it justice) and at £40 is probably a significant amount cheaper than Pucci’s version!
